Court denies State Farm appeal for higher rates; insurer says no change to pullout plans
As many new, highly respected and rated insurers are moving into the Pensacola Bay Area and Northwest Florida to write insurance policies on our residential, investment and commercial properties the 1st District Court of Appeal affirmed the McCarty order rejecting State Farm Insurance’s rate hike request. State Farm states this will not affect their planned withdrawal from providing homeowners insurance in the State of Florida. .
